Trick or Treating

Addison's first Halloween was very exciting for her. She wasn't sure about it at first, but when she saw other kids outside, she agreed to put on her costume and venture out. She ended up having a blast. She didn't care about getting candy -- she just wanted to wave to the other kids. She growled at a lion walking down the street.

Storytime Halloween Party

Addison dressed up as Flat Bunny for a Halloween party at Storytime at the local library.  She is in the birth to 18 mos class.  There were a lot of other "animals" at the party -- another bunny, 3 lions, a bee, a skunk, a turtle, plus a flower and a referee.  Addison had a great time singing Halloween songs.  I don't have any pics at the library, but these were taken afterward at home.

Addison hitched a ride in her good friend Weston's cool wagon.  They took this neighborhood parade very seriously -- no time for smiling!  We marched about 2 blocks, and then reached our goal -- pizza and treats!  Addison enjoyed meeting her long-lost monkey sister and a sugar cookie or two.  

Girls' Weekend

I had a great time catching up with my girls.  We kept it 4 real, as you can see in our group pic.  "4 Real" is the sign made by the dancers in "So You Think You Can Dance" season #4.   We played Guesstures and even though my team lost, it was still a lot of fun.  Although Lori had a little something on her shirt. And in her teeth.

My GMS friends came to visit for a girls' weekend. We went to "So You Think You Can Dance" and watched Twitch and company in action.  

The Monkey

Addison picked out her Halloween costume.  She tried it on at the store and wouldn't take it off. She cried when we had to take it off to pay for it! So we put it back on as soon as she got home. 

Visit to the Pumpkin Patch

We took Addison to the pumpkin patch on Saturday. They had a petting zoo.  We also took a hayride out to the cow pasture and fed the cows some corn.  

Our Trip to Nashville

We went to Nashville for our friends Beth and Ravi's wedding on October 4th.  Addison got to spend the night with Ama and Ayeh.
